The Leaden Winter/Marshal Fuzz @ Tsunami (Annapolis, MD) – June 9, 2019

Tsunami is a rad spot in Annapolis – A sushi restaurant that hosts a good bit of late night music. The space itself has an amazing vibe and was hopping with a great crowd, even on a Sunday night.

The Leaden Winter (Harrisonburg, VA)- Heavy stoner/bluesy rock (in various tempos) that’s just jammy enough and not too technical. Everything is felt out and hits you right in the face. Shredding guitar, proficient bass, incendiary drumming and two solid and unique voices covered in gloomy reverb. The band can easily pull of a cover of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” and Led Zeppelin’s “Dazed and Confused” which would both be daunting and poorly executed by most bands. The group is an extremely tight live unit with the utmost ability to possess your attention unforgivingly.
